Course Overview

The KISS CCR course is the highest level of open circuit and closed circuit technical training, teaching you to safely plan and conduct advanced decompression dives to 60 meters using a KISS closed circuit rebreather and multiple stage decompression gases. You will master advanced dive planning, CCR configuration, bailout procedures, gas management, and emergency protocols for deep technical diving. The course combines eLearning, equipment workshops, and at least eight open water dives under direct instructor supervision.

Quality over Quantity — the focus is on safe, correct procedures, redundancy, and real-world problem-solving. You will demonstrate competence in all required skills before certification.

What You Will Learn

  • Advanced CCR theory, loop management, and oxygen control

Logistics & Prerequisites

Included:

  • Digital learning materials (KISS CCR module)
  • At least eight open water dives
  • Certification (eCard) after passing
  • Use of KISS CCR and technical diving equipment for course dives (if available)
  • Nitrox/Trimix analyzer is supplied

Not Included:

  • Rental base equipment (CCR, BCD, reg, suit, etc.) — All rental gear is not included in the price
  • Gases and fills

Requirements:

  • Min age: 18 years
  • Certification: Deco 50 Trimix or equivalent, CCR prerequisites
  • Experience: Minimum 100 logged dives at least 30 on nitrox, 20 on twinset, 20 deeper than 30m
  • Medical: Fit for technical/CCR diving, medical questionnaire completed
  • Registration: Complete online registration and documentation before practical session

Training Schedule

  1. Theory: Complete e-learning module and quiz
  2. Equipment Workshop: KISS CCR rigging, bailout, gas analysis, and checks
  3. Open Water: At least eight open water dives CCR skills, bailout, deco procedures, gas switches, emergency drills, deep protocols
  4. Assessment: Demonstrate all required skills and pass the final knowledge review

Notes:

  • Instructor/student ratio: 1:2
  • Certification is awarded upon successful demonstration of all skills and knowledge
  • KISS CCR is recommended for divers progressing to the highest level of closed circuit technical diving
